    DoubleKill: I'm sorry that you don't like the colour scheme. I hadn't thought about changeable themes.
    I guess we all have different taste and you can't please everyone.
    I would have liked to have made it sizeable but there is just too much involved especially with such a primitive platform such as Visual Basic 6.
    It is all made on the resolution of 1920 x 1080 but I tried to make it small enough for those with lesser screen resolution so it actually fits on their screen.
    Hopefully the advanced features of the program out-weigh the fact that you don't like it being blue in colour.

    This is the third time that I've started the project from scratch and we're so far into it now (at least 8 or 9 months for me) that I can't see myself remaking it all again.
    At the very most I might do a plain, boring 1995 style grey framed window but then you might as well use a monochrome monitor. lol
    We'll see how things go after I've completed the coding for all functions.

    Thanks for your input. It is something for me to think about.

    Update 8.7.0.11:
    Addressed more things in the Client Config Creator.
    Having different player models in each of the game and it's expansions meant reconstructing the CVAR part of the Client Config Creator.
    Besides not all models being the same throughout, the wording of the output config file differs from the game's menus which I've emulated in this app.
    The server.mdb also had to be changed to accommodate the expansion.

    Although it's only an upgrade, it's all together in an installer.

    Update 8.8.0.0:
    This should be the final update to the Client Config Creator (unless bugs are found).
    I've added a player model selector, just like selecting your player model (allied & axis) from the game menu.... in either AA, SH or BT.
    Even though I have listed all player models in what is called "Proper Case" (the First Letter Of Each Word In Caps) and_without_underscores, the output to the "unnamedsoldier.cfg" changes to the same crappy, hap-hazard format MOH uses.
    Sorry but the MOHAA player model selection menu is just lazy arse, half hearted, programming on id software's behalf.
    Rant over. lol

    If you already have Map Mate installed, just download and run the Map Mate beta 8.8.0.0 upgrade.

    For anyone new to Map Mate there is also a complete program installation for this version.

    Map Mate beta 8.8.0.1 (FULL) Has been released along with a patch already!

    Please do check it out!

    There are not only Admin tools in this under 'Server Mate', but things for general players as well under 'Server Mate' - 'Client Configuration'.

    'Client Configuration'
    May or may not show you options you didn't know were available but saving you the hassle of typing it in the console,
    some are settings available in game setup but all laid out to giving you a nice GUI for setting up your unnamedsoldier.cfg

    Please add feedback or ask questions as it's quite helpful in adding functions & utilities.

    I've asked several times, but it still does not make beer.

    Map Mate 9 (full installation)

    Added a screenshot converter, called "Screen Mate".
    Converts tga files to jpg, png, bmp or gif.
    Also resizes the output image if desired.

    This has taken it's own place in the menu as I was hoping to get a screen video capture made but even though it worked well on the desktop the game blocked it.
    I'll look for a solution to this issue and hope to add it to the ever growing list of utilities, features and functions.

    Just a side note:
    If you think there is a need for a particular MOH related tool, utility or anything to make the MOH experience better, please say so.
    I'm happy to help the community wherever I can.
    Just keep in mind I am self taught and I'm doing this as a hobby, so don't expect too much. But it never hurts to ask.
    Major_A and Shadow have requested about half of the utilities that Map Mate now has to offer.
    For most of it I didn't even know what the bloody hell they were talking about but we managed to stumble our way through it all.

    Also; don't be shy in giving feedback. If something isn't to your liking I'll never know until you tell me.
    If you don't want to post feedback here simply drop me a private message. Either way, I'll ignore it and strike you off my Christmas card list. lol Just kidding.


    edit: Oops, I've just realized that because Screen Mate searches your Allied Assault, Spearhead and Breakthrough "screenshots " folders upon load, it may cause a crash.
    I will fix that now. Sorry to anyone without the expansions if I'm too late.

    edit2: All fixed now. For those who have already uploaded the full installation of version 9, but don't have both expansions, I have zipped the fixed exe file as an upgrade for it.

    Map Mate beta 10:
    Added a menu and batch conversion to Screen Mate.
    Fixed little issues I found along the way.

    I have divided the installer into two separate installers to save on download and installation size & times.
    Only the Map Mate.exe and it's dependency files ("dll" & "ocx") will need to be updated in future versions.

    The Resident Files Pack contains all of the files and folders that used to come with each installation.
    This will only need to be downloaded and installed once.
    The files and folders it installs will remain in your Map Mate directory after an uninstall.

    Be sure to download and install both the "Map Mate - Resident Files Pack" and the "Map Mate beta 10.0.0.0".

    Hey

    I just installed Map Mate 10 but everytime i try to compile a map im getting that thumbs down error?
    I have no idea what im doing wrong because i got all the direction at the right place (I think :P)
    I even installed a fresh copy of mohaa to be sure if it wasnt because of any of the custom maps/mods i got in my main since i had trouble with that with MBuilder.
    and i also reinstalled map mate a few times with no luck.
