    Aerial Map views

    Hi guys and gals,

Looking to find CLEAR aerial pics of MOHAA maps so that I can work on modifications and where to place them. Can anyone help or suggest where to look??

    Thanks

A few maps in the Database here have some extra shots but your best bet is to load them on your home PC and create a game using that map - if they are stock maps then even easier as you can just create game on your local LAN via game menu and then drop into spectate and move and zoom around - TBH thats how those shots are done and are detailed and good quality - in game snap shot or prt screen - hope that helps

    First off, G'day fellow Aussie.

Sorry I'm late to this party but what a strange request.
To make modifications to maps, beside just re texturing, chances are you will need Radiant, the map editor.
With that you can view the map and plan any modifications in the precise location to assess fitment, look & feel and such.

Sorry but I can help but feel that, because of the nature of your request, you might be thinking of making a minimap for the game.
If so, that would make an awesome inclusion. But for all of the work involved you would still be limited as to which maps will offer a suitable screenshot.

As a test run you could do as HSB suggested by looking down at default MOHAA maps (in game) in spectator mode and taking screenshots (F 12).
If you get hampered by VIS leaf groups (making parts invisible) or the skybox roof being too low (not allowing to get the whole map into view) you could always download the MOHAA source maps and edit them enough to make the ideal screenshots.

Either way, you should find everything you need in the database here http://www.mohaaaa.co.uk/AAAAMOHAA/

    Good luck with it.
